How many days do our patients stay in the hospital after surgery? The hospital stay is approximately one night after the surgery. This is for pain management, swelling treatment, and ice applications. They stay in the hospital for about 24 hours, and after that, they are discharged to go home. At home, they avoid strenuous activities, such as heavy lifting and intense sneezing. They definitely do not smoke. They can eat anything they like, but avoid very hard and very hot foods. After the third and fourth day post-surgery, we invite them back. We have special tampons inside the nose, which we remove. The external dressings are removed on average after 7 days. Then, we continue with routine follow-ups once a month for the next 6 months.
