What is Combined Facial Surgery? What Are Its Advantages?

Today, our patients are particularly concerned with their appearance and always want to look young and dynamic. Patients who come for rhinoplasty often ask us what other aesthetic surgeries they could consider. In addition to rhinoplasty, patients may also opt for facelift surgery, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), or even combine these surgeries together.

As physicians, do we recommend other aesthetic surgeries when performing rhinoplasty? Generally, we do recommend them. Why? Because patients often have multiple aesthetic needs. While we are correcting the nose, sometimes there are signs of aging or sagging on the face that need to be addressed. If there are no medical contraindications, we approve of combining these procedures in the same session.

There are several advantages to combining rhinoplasty with other facial aesthetic surgeries. For example, having all the procedures done in one session, instead of multiple sessions for rhinoplasty, eyebrow lifting, or facelift surgeries, is beneficial. First, everything is done in one surgery, which reduces the hospital stay. Secondly, the overall cost for the patient is lower, and the recovery time is shorter, allowing the patient to return to their normal life and work more quickly.
